To authorize the Secretary of the Army to convey to the State of North Carolina a certain parcel of real property located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on which the State shall construct a veterans’ State home, and for other purposes.
Summary:
• Authorizes the Secretary of the Army to convey approximately 20 acres of land at Fort Bragg, Harnett County, North Carolina (Parcel 3B) to the State of North Carolina at no cost, for the purpose of constructing a veterans' State home
• The State of North Carolina must cover all costs incurred by the Secretary related to the conveyance, including environmental and real estate due diligence and administrative costs
• If the property is ever not used for State home activities, the Secretary may reclaim full ownership and have immediate right of entry
