• The "No HUD Funding for Sanctuary Cities Act" makes sanctuary jurisdictions ineligible for any grant funds distributed by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for use in those jurisdictions.
• A "sanctuary jurisdiction" is defined as any State or political subdivision that prohibits or restricts sharing immigration status information with government entities, or that refuses to comply with Department of Homeland Security detainer or release notification requests.
