MORE Savings Act
Summary:
• Renames itself the "MORE Savings Act" and establishes a Medicare pilot model in 15 selected states that eliminates cost-sharing (coinsurance, copayments, and deductibles) for opioid use disorder treatments, overdose reversal medications, behavioral health services, and recovery support services under Medicare Parts B, C, and D
• Requires group health plans and health insurance issuers under PHSA, ERISA, and the IRC to cover prescription drugs for opioid use disorders, behavioral health services, and community recovery support services with no cost-sharing, effective for plan years beginning January 1, 2027
• Increases the federal Medicaid matching rate to 90 percent for medication-assisted treatment expenditures and gives states the option to include recovery support services within the definition of medication-assisted treatment
