• Requires national security agencies to determine within 1 year whether certain humanoid and quadruped robotics communications equipment or services from covered foreign entities pose unacceptable risks to U.S. national security
• Mandates that the Federal Communications Commission add such robotics equipment or services to its covered list if they are determined to pose unacceptable risks or if no determination is made within the 1-year timeframe
• Applies only to humanoid or quadruped robots and controlling software that are communications equipment produced by entities from countries of concern, not NATO allies or Major Non-NATO Allies
