National Park System Long-Term Lease Investment Act
Summary:
• Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to extend certain leases within National Park System units without opening them to competitive bidding
• Lease extensions are only available if the lessee has held the lease for at least 5 years, is in compliance with lease terms, and the Secretary determines the extension is in the best interests of the applicable park unit
• Requires the Secretary to update federal regulations within 90 days of enactment to reflect this new authority
