Falun Gong and Victims of Forced Organ Harvesting Protection Act
Summary:
• Requires the President to impose property-blocking and visa/entry sanctions on foreign persons determined to have knowingly engaged in or facilitated forced organ harvesting within China, based on a list submitted to Congress within 180 days of enactment
• Requires the Secretary of State, in consultation with other agency heads, to submit a report within one year on China's organ transplant policies and practices, including a formal determination on whether China engages in systemic forced organ harvesting
• The sanctions authority sunsets 5 years after enactment, with presidential waiver authority available on a case-by-case basis for national security reasons
